Scallywag Charger

 
 
Many of the first generation of high end caving lamps use 7.4v li-ion battery packs. These high end lamps are all well and good, but about as useful as a chocolate tea pot if you can't charge them up when there isn't a mains supply around. Oddly this is quite a common issue in many of the places that you find caves :-). 
 
Chances are though, that you might just happen to have travelled there, with all your kit, in a car, complete with convenient 12v power supply.
